Gingerbread Mingle
We will be virtually gathering to sip hot cocoa and decorate gingerbread houses. This time of year can be a difficult one for so many, so we want to come together, support one another, and have a little fun in the meantime.
During registration, we'll ask you for your shipping address so we can ship you a gingerbread house kit and hot cocoa packet (if you register before December 10th). If you register after December 10th, you can still join our gathering, but we won't be able to mail you a kit.
Alumni will be sent a gift card in the mail with their gingerbread kit if they register before December 10th! A zoom link to the gathering will be emailed to you after registration.

14th Annual Alumni Thanksgiving
Join the Massachusetts Network of Foster Care Alumni (MassNFCA) for our 14th Annual Statewide Thanksgiving Dinner! Alumni, family, and friends of foster care will gather at the White Room in Worcester.
This year, we are back in-person for the first time since 2019- so this Thanksgiving is particularly special! Thanksgiving is a time for community and family, and we are excited to create a space where all alumni of "foster care" and "out-of-home placement" can come together, share a meal, and connect with one another.
Paint Night for Youth Voice Month
October is #FosterYouthVoiceMonth! MassNFCA joins Selfless Love Foundation to elevate the voices of youth impacted by foster care. Listening to their experiences and ideas is crucial to creating a child welfare system that supports the people it serves and helps them to thrive.✨
One way to express your voice is through art and community. Because of this, MassNFCA is hosting a painting workshop where we will come together as a community of individuals with lived experience of "foster care" or "out-of-home placement". ALL alumni are welcome- from ages 16-106.
We'll paint together, eat food together, and share community and space with one another.
