What Is BPT?

BPT helps caregivers learn ways to manage and improve their child’s behavior. Through the use of one-on-one time and praise, caregivers can reduce challenging behaviors using a consistent, predictable, and structured approach.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • We often have openings and can usually schedule an assessment within a couple of weeks. Treatment can begin after the assessment. The more flexibility you have with scheduling, the sooner we may be able to get you started.  

  • No, you do not need a diagnosis to get started. The first step in our process is a thorough assessment to better understand your concerns, symptoms, and situation. As part of that assessment, we will identify any diagnosis that may apply and recommend the best next steps for treatment.  

  • We accept Blue Cross Blue Shield, Harvard Pilgrim, Tufts Health Public Plans, and Tufts Commercial plans. If you have a different insurance plan, we can provide documentation that you may be able to submit for out-of-network reimbursement. We also offer a sliding scale to help make treatment more affordable for families paying out of pocket.  

  • Yes. We offer virtual appointments for families located in Massachusetts. Virtual treatment can make it easier to fit appointments into your family’s schedule and receive care from home.
