Supervisor Certification Requirements

Supervisor Training & Activities

MATCH supervisors can lead within-agency MATCH trainings and consultation groups for agency clinicians. To be eligible to be a MATCH supervisor, clinicians must first be certified as a MATCH therapist. Training activities include: 

  • 14-hour training with an approved MATCH trainer 
  • 20-25 call consultation series (virtual, 1-hour calls weekly or biweekly) 

Supervisor Certification Requirements

  • Completion of 12-hour training with an approved MATCH trainer 
  • Attendance at 12 consultation calls 
  • Delivery of all 33 MATCH modules with clients 
  • Delivery of at least 25 hours of consultation to at least 3 MATCH trainees 
  • Support of two MATCH trainees in receiving MATCH therapist certification 

Submit the following to match@bakercenter.org

  • Completed Supervisor Portfolio 
  • Three supervisor evaluation forms from trainees 
  • $250 certification fee 

Certification lasts 3 years. To re-certify, submit the following to match@bakercenter.org

  • Information on two additional therapists who have been supported in achieving MATCH therapist certification (i.e., updated Supervisor Portfolio and two supervisor evaluation forms from trainees) 
  • $250 recertification fee
