Mary Woodland is an independently licensed clinical social worker (LICSW) and Assistant Director of the Center for Effective Therapy (CET)- Waltham. She has worked with children, young adults, and their caregivers in a variety of settings including outpatient therapy, community-based intervention, and short term psychiatric and residential settings. Mary is trained in evidence-based models such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and exposure response prevention (ERP), in addition to Parent-Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT). Mary is certified in the Modular Approach to Therapy for Children with Anxiety, Depression, Trauma, or Conduct Problems (MATCH-ADTC) in addition to being a certified supervisor in MATCH-ADTC. Additionally, she is certified in Parent-Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT), an evidence-based treatment for children 2-7 years-old with disruptive behavior disorders. She has also completed additional training in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) and has worked with children and young adults who have experienced trauma and stressor related disorders. In her role she helps oversee and support administrative and clinical operations at CET Waltham, while also providing supervision to staff clinicians, trainees, and Program Assistants.
