Gianna D’Ambrozio (she/her) is a psychology intern from the University of Massachusetts Boston. She is in the process of earning a doctoral degree in counseling psychology. She earned a Master of Social Work degree from New York University.
Gianna is a Licensed Master of Social Work and holds a license in New York. She has extensive experience working with children and families in inpatient, outpatient, school, residential, and other clinical settings. She has training in cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), summer treatment program (STP), Parent Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT), and is working towards a certificate in the Modular Approach to Treatment for Children with Anxiety, Depression, Trauma, or Conduct Problems (MATCH-ADTC). Gianna also has experience providing psychoeducational and neuropsychological assessments to children, adolescents, and young adults in outpatient and university settings.
Gianna’s research interests center around bioethics and psychopharmacology, particularly pediatric psychotropic polypharmacy.
