Adair Bannister, MA
Post-Master’s Fellow
Adair Bannister is a Post-Master’s Fellow at The Baker Center for Children and Families. Before moving to Boston, she earned her B.A. degree at Wofford College with a double major in Art History and Government. Immediately following her graduation, Adair attended Boston College where she earned her M.A. in Mental Health Counseling with a concentration in Child and Family Mental Health.
Adair has always been passionate about serving families. Across the years, she has enjoyed supporting parents and children in various camps and community-based settings. For the last two summers, Adair worked at Camp Baker’s Summer Treatment Program (STP), an evidence-based intervention for youth with ADHD and related challenges. During the year, Adair worked in a therapeutic school where she collaborated with interdisciplinary teams to provide individual and group counseling.
She is currently pursuing certification in the Modular Approach to Treatment for Children with Anxiety, Depression, Trauma, or Conduct Problems (MATCH-ADTC). Adair is looking forward to delivering evidence-based care in her work with future families.
