Samantha Hutchinson (she/her) is a psychology intern from the University of California, Santa Barbara, where she earned her Master of Education degree and is currently pursuing a doctoral degree in school psychology.
Samantha has extensive experience working with children, adolescents, and families in both schools and clinical settings. She is a certified Parent-Child Interaction Therapist (PCIT) and is completing her PCIT Within-Agency Trainer Certification. She has training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), the Summer Treatment Program (STP), and she is currently pursuing certification in the Modular Approach to Therapy for Children with Anxiety, Depression, Trauma, or Conduct Problems (MATCH-ADTC). Samantha also has experience conducting psychoeducational and neuropsychological assessments for children, adolescents, and young adults in school and clinical settings.
Samantha's research focuses on school-based mental health and interdisciplinary collaboration to implement evidence-based interventions that promote the social, emotional, and mental health of diverse students.
